GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Part 3A of the Public Sector Management Act 1988, make the following Order.

Public Sector Management (Office of the Children’s
Guardian) Order 2000

1     Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Management (Office of the Children’s
Guardian) Order 2000.

2     Establishment of new department

The Office of the Children’s Guardian is established as a department of the Public Service.

3     Amendment of Schedule 1 (Departments)

Schedule 1 to the Public Sector Management Act 1988 is amended by inserting in alphabetical order of departments the following matter:

Office of the Children’s Guardian * Children’s Guardian

4     Responsible Minister: section 55C

The Minister for Community Services is to be the Minister responsible for the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
