PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT ACT 1988—ORDER

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Part 3A of the Public Sector Management Act 1988, make the Order set out hereunder.

1 Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Management (New South Wales

Institute of Sport) Order 1997.

2 Establishment of new department

The group of staff attached to the New South Wales Institute of Sport is removed from the Department of Sport and Recreation and established as a department of the Public Service, to be known as the New South Wales Institute of Sport, responsible to the Minister for Sport and Recreation.

3 Amendment of Schedule 1 (Departments)

Schedule 1 to the Public Sector Management Act 1988 is amended by inserting in alphabetical order of departments the following matter:

sport	Department of Sport and Recreation
