Clause 1 Public Sector Management (Employment Agents) Order 1998

1 Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Management (Employment

Agents) Order 1998.

2 Commencement

This Order commences on I July 1998.

1. Construction of certain references to the Director-General of the Department of Industrial Relations and to officers of that Department

(I)	The reference, in the definition of Director-General in section 3 of the Employment Agents Act 1996, to the Director-General of the Department of Industrial Relations is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Fair Trading.
(2)	A reference, in the definition of inspector in section 3 of the Employment Agents Act 1996 or in section 25 of that Act, to an officer of the Department of Industrial Relations is to be construed as a reference to an officer of the Department of Fair Trading.
