Public Sector Legislation Amendment Act 2000

An Act to amend the Public Sector Management Act 1994, the Fire Brigade (Administration) Act 1974 and the Legislative Assembly (Members’ Staff) Act 1989

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1. Name of Act

   This Act is the Public Sector Legislation Amendment Act 2000.

2. Commencement

   This Act commences, or is taken to have commenced, on 31 December 2000.

3. Amendment of Public Sector Management Act

   Section 235 of the Public Sector Management Act 1994 is amended by omitting subsection (4).

4. Amendment of Fire Brigade (Administration) Act

   Section 34 of the Fire Brigade (Administration) Act 1974 is amended by omitting subsection (8).

5. Amendment of Legislative Assembly (Members’ Staff) Act

   Section 13BA of the Legislative Assembly (Members’ Staff) Act 1989 is amended by omitting subsection (4).
