SUPERANNUATION ACT 1989—ORDER

ERRATUM

THE Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989—Order, which was

published in the Government Gazette of 27 June 1997, Gazette No. 68 on page 5061–5063, was published without the signed date and Premier’s name.

The Order is now republished to correct that error.

Superannuation Act 1989—Order

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 58 of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 (Additional employers) to that Act as follows:

(a)	by inserting, in alphabetical order in the list of employers in that Schedule, with effect on and from 5 August 1996, the following name: Lismore City Council
(b)	by inserting, in alphabetical order in the list of employers in that Schedule, with effect on and from 30 June 1997, the following names: Bega Valley Shire Council

(e)	by omitting from that Schedule the name “Maclean Council” and by inserting instead the name “Maclean Shire Council”,
( f )	by omitting from that Schedule the name “New England Tablelands County Council” and by inserting instead the name “New England Tablelands (Noxious Plants) County Council”.

Explanatory note

The objects of this Order are:

(a) to add the names of certain councils of local government areas and county councils to Schedule 1 to the Public Sector Executives

Superannuation Act 1989 so as to enable senior executives employed

by those councils, and the councils as employers, to make contributions to the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Fund, and

(b) to update references to certain bodies listed in that Schedule.
