PUBLIC SECTOR EXECUTIVES SUPERANNUATION ACT

1989—ORDER

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 58 of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 to that Act (Additional employers), with effect on and from 1 July 1997, by inserting in alphabetical order the following names:

Coleambally Irrigation Corporation

Murrumbidgee Irrigation Corporation

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Order is toadd to the list of employers in Schedule 1 to the Public
Sector Executives Superannuation Act I989 the Coleambally Irrigation Corporation and

the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Corporation so as to enable senior executives employed by those corporations, and those corporations as employers, to make contributions to the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Fund. Section 58 of the Act authorises the Governor-in-Council. by order, to amend the Schedule.

The Order will be taken to have had effect on and from 1 July 1997. (Section 58 (2) of the Act authorises an Order to be made so that is has effect on and from a date that is earlier than the date of its publication.)
