ACT 1989—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 58 of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 1 to that Act (Additional Employees and Employers), to take effect on and from 7 September 1990, by inserting before the matter relating to the New South Wales Treasury Corporation in that Schedule the following matter:

Research Director of New South
Education Director Wales
General Manager, Administration

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Order is to add to Schedule 1 (Additional Employees and Employers) to the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989 the positions of certain officers employed by the Judicial Commission of New South Wales so that those officers may elect to become members of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Fund.

Section 58 (2) of the Public Sector Executives Superannuation Act 1989 allows an Order under that section to have retrospective effect and thus enables this Order to have effect on and from 7 September 1990, the date on which the officers specified in the Order entered into their contracts of employment with the Judicial Commission.
