MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Chapter 4 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, make the following Order.

Public Sector Employment and Management (Transport and Population Data Centre) Order 2007

Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management
(Transport and Population Data Centre) Order 2007.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 18 May 2007.

3      Transfer of branch from Department of Planning to Ministry of Transport

(1) The group of staff in the Department of Planning who are employed in connection with the Transport and Population Data Centre (except such staff who, in the opinion of the Director-General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, are principally involved in population data analysis) are removed from the Department of Planning and added to the Ministry of Transport.

(2)

A reference in any Act or statutory instrument, or any other intrument, or any contract or agreement, to the Department of Planning (in relation to the group of staff removed from that Department under subclause (1)) is to be construed as a reference to the Ministry of Transport.
