MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Chapter 4 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, make the following Order.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management (Office of the Community Relations Commission) Order 2010.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Establishment of Office of the Community Relations Commission

The Office of the Community Relations Commission is established as a Division of the Government Service responsible to the Premier and the Minister for Citizenship.

4 Amendment of Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 No 43

Schedule 1 Divisions of the Government Service

Insert after the matter relating to the Office of the Legal Aid Commission in Division 2 of Part 1, in Columns 1 and 2, respectively:

Office of the Community Relations Chairperson of the Commission
Commission

5      Transfer of Communities NSW staff to Office of the Communities Relations Commission

The group of staff employed in Communities NSW to enable the Community Relations Commission to exercise its functions are removed from Communities NSW and added to the Office of the Community Relations Commission.
