MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir, AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Chapter 4 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, make the following Order.

Clause 1	Corporation) Order 2013

Public Sector Employment and Management (NSW Self

Insurance Corporation) Order 2013

under the

Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management (NSW
Self Insurance Corporation) Order 2013.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on 1 July 2013 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Transfer of NSW Self Insurance Corporation staff to Department of Finance and Services

(1)	The group of staff in the Treasury who are employed to enable the NSW Self Insurance Corporation to exercise its functions are removed from the Treasury and added to the Department of Finance and Services.
(2)	A reference in any Act or statutory instrument, or any other instrument, or any contract or agreement to the Treasury is to be construed as a reference to the Department of Finance and Services if the reference is used in relation to the group of staff referred to in subclause (1).

4 Construction of certain references in Home Building Act 1989 relating to the management of the Building Insurers’ Guarantee Corporation

(1)  A reference in any of the following provisions of the Home Building Act 1989 to the Director-General (within the meaning of that Act), being a reference required by clause 5 (1) of the 2011 Order to be construed as a reference to the Secretary of the Treasury, is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Finance and Services:

(a)	section 103R,
(b)	section 122 (to the extent that it relates to functions under Part 6A of that Act).

(2) The reference in section 103T of the Home Building Act 1989 to the Department of Fair Trading (required by clause 5 (2) of the 2011 Order

to be construed as a reference to Treasury) is to be construed as a

reference to the Department of Finance and Services.

(3) In this clause, 2011 Order means the Public Sector Employment and
Management (General) Order 2011.
