MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Chapter 4 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, make the following Order.

1 Name of Order
This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management (Natural
Resources) Order 2006.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on 1 July 2006.
3 Transfer of certain staff from Department of Natural Resources to Premier’s Department
The following are removed from the Department of Natural Resources and added to the Premier’s Department:
(a) the group of staff who, in the opinion of the Director-General of the Premier’s Department, are principally involved in the administration of the Forestry and National Park Estate Act 1998, (b) such other staff as the Director-General of the Premier’s Department determines are required in connection with the exercise of the Premier’s functions in relation to the Brigalow and Nandewar Community Conservation Council established under section 24 of the Brigalow and Nandewar Community Conservation Area Act 2005.
4 Construction of certain references to Minister for Natural Resources
A reference to the Minister for Natural Resources in section 14 or 27 of the Forestry and National Park Estate Act 1998 (and in any forestry agreement or integrated forestry operations approval made or granted under that Act before the commencement of this Order) is to be construed as a reference to the Premier.
