1 Name of Order
This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management
(Housing) Order 2013.
2 Commencement
This Order commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Construction of references in Housing Act 2001 relating to management of NSW Land and Housing Corporation
A reference in section 6 of the Housing Act 2001 to the Director-General within the meaning of that Act (required by clause 4 of the Public Sector Employment and Management (General) Order 2011 to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Finance and Services) is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Family and Community Services.
4 Transfer of certain staff
(1) The group of staff in the Department of Finance and Services who, in the opinion of the Public Service Commissioner, are principally involved in asset management under the Housing Act 2001 are removed from that Department and added to the Department of Family and Community Services. (2) A reference in any Act or statutory or other instrument, or in any contract or agreement, to the Department of Finance and Services is to be construed as a reference to the Department of Family and Community Services if the reference is used in relation to the group of staff referred to in subclause (1).
