Public Sector Employment and Management (Exemption) regulations

Regulations under the Public Sector Employment and Management Act

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Public Sector Employment and Management (Exemption) Regulations.

2Reporting by Auditor-General
  • (1)

    Section 28 of the Act does not apply to or in relation to the Auditor-General or the Auditor-General’s Office.

  • (2)

    Subregulation (1) does not affect any power of reporting that the Auditor-General may have under any other law in force in the Territory.

3Exemption of certain employees from application of by-laws
  • (1)

    The provisions of the Act specified in Column 2 of the Table to this regulation, except to the extent, if any, that they are specifically expressed to apply to those employees, do not apply to or in relation to an employee employed in the service of an Agency specified in Column 1 opposite to the provision specified in Column 2.

  • (2)

    For the purposes of section 4(2) of the Act, a provision specified under subregulation (1) is a prescribed provision and employees so specified are prescribed classes of persons.
