MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 108 of the Public SectorEmployment and Management Act 2002, make the following Order.

Public Sector Employment and Management

(Department of Primary Industries) Order 2005

under the

Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Public Sector Employment and Management
(Department of Primary Industries) Order 2005.

2      Construction of references to certain officers

(1) 

A reference in any Act or statutory instrument, or in any other instrument, or in any contract or agreement to any of the following officers in the Department of Primary Industries is to be construed as a reference to the Director-General of the Department of Primary Industries:

(a) Chief, Division of Plant Industries,
(b) Program Manager, Horticultural Production and Plant Protection,
(c) Chief, Division of Animal Industries,
(d) Program Manager, Quality Assurance,
(e) Chief, Division of Animal Health.
(2) Subclause (1) does not apply to a reference to any such officer in any of
the following provisions:
(a) Schedule 3 to the Plant Diseases Act 1924,
(b) Schedule 1 to the Stock (Chemical Residues) Act 1975,
(c) Schedule 2 to the Stock Diseases Act 1923,
(d) Schedule 1 to the Swine Compensation Act 1928.
