HEREAS i t is desirable that the Commissioner of Waterworks P:eamble.

W take immediate poss~ssion of the lands hereinafter described

fou public purposes: And whereas art Act of Parliament is necessary

to enable him so to do: And whereas plans of the said lands and bcoks of reference showing the names of the owners or occupiers, or reputed owners or occupiers (so far as known) of the said lands have been deposited in the uffice' of the Surveyor-General, at Adelaidu-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advicc and consent of the Legislative Council and Honse of Assembly of the said province it1 this present Parliament assembled, as fol!ows:
