Minister for Gaming and RacingExplanatory note The objects of this regulation are as follows:
(a) to remove the requirement for an annual list to be published in the Government Gazette of unclaimed prizes of $200 or more won on a public lottery, (b) to require a public lottery licensee to notify the Minister of the particulars of any employee who is paid $150,000 or more per year (at present, the amount is set at $100,000). This Regulation is made under the Public Lotteries Act 1996, including section 83.

2 Amendment of Public Lotteries Regulation 1996
The Public Lotteries Regulation 1996 is amended as set out in
Schedule 1.
The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Omit clause 5 (2) and (3).
[2] Schedule1 Change of circumstances to be notified
Omit ‘‘$100,000” from the fourth paragraph under the heading
‘‘Kinds of change”.
Insert instead "$150,000".
