Act to provide Lunds by means o f a

Tonnage Duty fo r making

Improvements to the Navigation of the

Torts o f Neiccastle and MorpeW' the Government was authorized to borrow such sum or sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of forty thousand pounds as should be from time to time required for making sueh Improvements And whereas by another Act passcA in the present Session intituled A n Act to authorize the raising o f Loans 19 vic. No. 38.

“ yhr Public Works on the security o f the Consolida ted Revenues o f the Colony And to remove doubts as to the security o f former Loans” the Government was authorized to borrow a sum of money not exceed­ ing three hundred and twenty-five thousand three hundred and twenty- three pounds for the several purposes therein expressed And whereas it is expedient to enable the Government to proceed forthwith to the execution of the Improvements and Publie Works referred to in the above recited Acts Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of New Soutlr Wales with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof as follows :—-
