Public Lending Right Scheme 1997 (Modification No. 1 of 2014)

I, George Brandis QC, Attorney General, Minister for the Arts, issue the following Notice under paragraph 5(1)(b) of the Public Lending Right Act 1985.

1.         Modification

1.1       The Public Lending Right Scheme 1997 is modified as set out in this Notice.

2.         Subsection 14(2)

2.1       Omit “$1.96”, substitute “$2.00”.

3.         Subsection 15(2)

3.1       Omit “49 cents”, substitute “50 cents”.

This instrument takes effect on the day following the day of its registration in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
