I, SIMON CREAN, Minister for the Arts, make this Determination under subsections 16(1) of the Public Lending Right Scheme 1997.

1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Public Lending Right Scheme 1997 Determination 2011 (No.1).

1. Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

1. Definitions

‘scheme’ means the Public Lending Right Scheme 1997.

1. Minimum payment amount under the scheme

(1)   For the 2011-2012 financial year the minimum payment amount is $50.

(2)   Under subsection (1), the minimum payment applies to both eligible creators and eligible publishers.

(3)   For the financial years following the 2011-2012 financial year the minimum payment amount is $100.

(4)   Under subsection (3), the minimum payment amount applies to both eligible creators and eligible publishers.
