authority of the same, as follows :—

1. All the estate, right, title, and interest of the Railway Com- missioners of New South Wales in or to the lands described in Schedules A and B to this Act are hereby transferred to and vested in the Minister of Public Instruction on behalf of Her Majesty, freed from all trusts under the Government Bail ways Act of 1888, but nevertheless subject to such trusts as may be declared by the Governor with the advice of the Executive Council.

2. This Act may be cited as the " Public Instruction (Newcastle

SCHEDULE A.

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the- parish and town of Newcastle, county of Northumberland, Colony of New South Wales: Commencing at a point on the northern side of Blane-street, now Hunter-street West, hearing north eighty-fire degrees thirty-three minutes west one hundred and eighty-one feet nine and three- quarter inches from its intersection with the prolongation in a northerly direction of the western building line of Union-street; and bounded thence towards the south by the aforesaid side of Blane-street, now Hunter-street West, bearing north eighty-five degrees thirty-three minutes west one hundred feet; thence towards the west by the eastern boundary of land set apart for the purposes of a Trades Hall, being a line bearing north four degrees twenty-six minutes east one hundred feet; thence towards the north by a line bearing south eighty-five degrees thirty-three minutes east one hundred feet; thence towards the east by a line bearing south four degrees twenty-six minutes west one hundred feet, to the point of commencement,—and containing thirty-six and a-half perches or thereabouts.

SCHEDULE B.

All that piece or parcel of land situated in the parish and town of Newcastle, county of Northumberland, Colony of New South Wales : Commencing at a point on the northern side of Blane-street, now Hunter-street West, at the south-east corner of land described in Schedule A to this Act ; and bounded thence on the west by the east boundary of that land bearing north four degrees twenty-six minutes east one hundred feet; thence on the north by aline bearing south eighty-five degrees thirty-three minutes east one hundred and fifty feet; thence on the east by a lino bearing south four degrees twenty-six minutes west one hundred feet; and thence on the south by the north side of Blane-street, now Hunter-street West, aforesaid bearing north eighty-live degrees thirty-three minutes west one hundred and fifty feet, to the point of commencement,— and containing by admeasurement one rood fifteen perches more or less.
