AN ACT to amend the Public Institutions and Friendly

Societies Lands Improvement Act, 1892.

[Assented to 15th December, 1923.]

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in13 E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

1.   This Act may be cited as the Public Institutions and Short title.

Friendly Societies Lands Improvement Act Amendment Act,

1923.

2. Section two of the Public Institutions and Friendly Amendment of Section 2.

Societies Lands Improvement Act, 1892, is hereby amended, by the addition of the following words, that is to say:—

"and the word 'institution' shall also include any Trade Union and Trades and Labour Council and any Associa- tion in which, or in any trustees for which, any Trades Hall or land acquired or held for the purpose of a Trades Hall is vested."

Societies Lands Improvement Act, 1892, is amended by in- Section sands 3. Section three of the Public Institutions and Friendly Amendment of

serting the words "an institution or" before the words "the duly appointed trustees"; and section five of the said Act is amended by inserting the words "an institution or" before the words "the trustees."
