I, the Minister for Industrial Relations, at the request of Lake Macquarie City Council and Newcastle City Council and in pursuance of section 8 (1) of the Public Holidays Act 2010, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to amend the Public Holidays Order 2011 to declare 2 March 2018 as a local
event day for the Lake Macquarie City and Newcastle City local government areas.
This Order is made under section 8 (1) of the Public Holidays Act 2010.
