Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Regulations 2000

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .20 March 2000

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco Seller’s Licence) Regulations 2000 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn these regulations, Act means the Public Health Act 1997 . 4FeesFor the purpose of section 74A of the Act, the prescribed fee for an application for a tobacco seller’s licence is $75.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 22 March 2000

These regulations are administered in the Department of Health and Human Services.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations prescribe $75 as the fee for an application for a tobacco seller’s licence.
