Public Health (Tobacco Seller's Licence) Amendment Regulations 2007

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Public Health Act 1997 .17 December 2007

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Public Health (Tobacco Seller’s Licence) Amendment Regulations 2007 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 March 2008. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Public Health (Tobacco Seller’s Licence) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4 amended (Fees) Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from subregulation (1) "75 fee units" and substituting "144 fee units"; (b) by omitting from subregulation (1A) "75 fee units" and substituting "144 fee units".

These regulations are administered in the Department of Health and Human Services.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the

(a) an application for a tobacco seller’s licence; and (b) an application for the renewal of a tobacco seller’s licence.
