AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Public Health (Prohibited Drugs) Ordinance 1957
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Adminis tration) Act 1910.

PUBLIC HEALTH (PROHIBITED DRUGS) (AMENDMENT)
ORDINANCE (No. 2) 1978
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health (Prohibited
Drugs) (Amendment) Ordinance (No. 2) 1978.*
2. In this Ordinance, " Principal Ordinance" means the Public Health (Prohibited Drugs) Ordinance 1957.t

3. This Ordinance shall come into operation on the date fixed under section 2 of the Poisons and Narcotic Drugs Ordinance 1978.
4. Section 2 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting the definitions of " cannabis ", " cannabis fibre ", " cannabis plant " and " cannabis resin ".
5. Section 4 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting

6. The Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is repealed and the
following Schedule substituted:
