PUBLIC HEALTH (PRIVATE HOSPITALS) REGULATIONS*

REGULATIONS 1969 No. 7f

1. Regulation 3 of the Public Health (Private Hospitals) Regulations is i

amended by omitting the definition of " Registered nurse " and inserting in its

ttead the following definitions:—

" ' Registered nurse' has the same meaning as in the Nurses Registration

Ordinance 1933-1967;

' the Director' means the person for the time being occupying, or per- forming the duties of, the office of Commonwealth Director of Health for the Territory;".

2. Regulation 9 of the Public Health (Private Hospitals) Regulations is r

amended by omitting paragraph (/) and inserting in its stead the following £

in the Schedule to these Regulations.

" (0 Each junction formed by a wall with the floor, in a room other
than a kitchen or operating theatre, shall be coved;

" (la) Each junction formed by a wall with another wall and by a wall

with the floor in a kitchen shall be coved;".

3. Regulation 10 of the Public Health (Private Hospitals) Regulations is c amended by inserting after paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2.) the following " paragraph:—

" {ca) Each junction formed by a wall with another wall and by a wall

with the floor shall be coved;".

4. The Public Health (Private Hospitals) Regulations are amended as set out / a
