Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Health Act 1991.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to update a reference in the Public Health (General) Regulation 2002 to a data collection form (in connection with particulars an attending medical practitioner is required to record in relation to a birth).

This Regulation is made under sections 14 and 82 (the general regulation-making power) of the Public Health Act 1991.

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Public Health (General) Amendment (NSW
Perinatal Data Collection Form) Regulation 2010.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 January 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Public Health (General) Regulation 2002
Clause 6 Records of scheduled medical conditions

Omit “Midwives” from clause 6 (a). Insert instead “Perinatal”.
