Public Health (Eating Houses) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, ALLAN CLYDE HOLDING, the Minister of State for the Arts and Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Public Health Ordinance 1928.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the date of commencement of the Dog Control (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.

Prohibition on dogs

2.  Regulation 18 of the Public Health (Eating Houses) Regulations is amended—

(a)by inserting in subregulation (2) “or a hearing dog accompanying a deaf person” after “blind person”; and

(b)by adding at the end the following subregulation:

“(3)  In subregulation (2), ‘blind person’, ‘deaf person’, ‘guide dog’ and ‘hearing dog’ have the same respective meanings as in the Dog Control Ordinance 1975.”.
