Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2019 to add Novel coronavirus 2019 to the list of notifiable conditions in Schedules 3 and 4 of those Regulations as a notifiable condition requiring notification as soon as practicable.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 232 and 238 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.
3Schedule 3—Registered medical practitioners—notifiable conditions and notification details
In Schedule 3 to the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2019[1], after item 15 in Part 1 insert "15A Novel coronavirus 2019 (2019-nCoV)".
4Schedule 4—Pathology services—notifiable conditions and notification details
In Schedule 4 to the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2019, after item 15 in Part 1 insert "15A Novel coronavirus 2019 (2019-nCoV)".
