Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Health Act 1991.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 1 to the Public Health Act 1991 to include rotavirus in the list of Category 3 medical conditions, with the effect that, pursuant to section 16 of that Act, a testing laboratory will be required to notify any detected instance of rotavirus to the Director-General of the Department of Health.

This Regulation is made under the Public Health Act 1991, including sections 80 and 82 (the general regulation-making power).
