Regulation under the Public Health Act 2010.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Health Regulation 2012 to prescribe the particulars that are required to be notified by a medical practitioner when attending a person with acute rheumatic fever or a person under the age of 35 years with rheumatic heart disease.
This Regulation is made under the Public Health Act 2010, including sections 54 (2) (a) and 134 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Public Health Amendment (Prescribed Notification)
Regulation 2015.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Public Health Regulation 2012
Clause 37 Notification of category 1 and 2 conditions
Insert after clause 37 (f):
(g) in relation to acute rheumatic fever or, in a person under the age of 35 years, rheumatic heart disease—the particulars required to be included in the Acute Rheumatic Fever/Rheumatic Heart Disease Form published by the Ministry of Health.
