Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Public Health Act 2010.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to allow for the issue of penalty notices for an offence occurring between 26 March 2020 and 25 March 2021 against a provision of the Public Health Act 2010 involving a contravention of the following—
| (a) | a Ministerial direction to deal with a public health risk, |
| (b) | an order to close public premises on public health grounds, |
| (c) | a public health order relating to COVID-19. |
This Regulation is made under the Public Health Act 2010, including sections 118 and 134 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Public Health Amendment (Penalty Notices) Regulation 2020.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 4 Penalty notice offences
Insert in appropriate order under the heading “Part 1 Offences under the Act”—
Section 10, for an offence occurring between $1,000 $5,000 26 March 2020 and 25 March 2021 Section 11, for an offence occurring between $1,000 $5,000 26 March 2020 and 25 March 2021 Section 70(1), for an offence occurring $1,000 between 26 March 2020 and 25 March 2021
involving a contravention of public health
order relating to COVID-19
