(Fees) Regulation 2001

Public Health Act 1991

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Health Act 1991.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is:

(a)	to amend the Public Health Regulation 1991 to increase the fee for applications to exhume remains and the fee for the approval of equipment for use in, or in connection with, a crematory, and
(b)	to amend the Public Health (Microbial Control) Regulation 2000 to increase the application fee for approval to install certain hot-water and warm-water systems.

The fee increases are generally in line with CPI increases. This Regulation is made under the Public Health Act 1991, including section 82 (the general regulation- making power).

Regulation 2001

1. Name of Regulation

   This Regulation is the Public Health Legislation Amendment (Fees)
   Regulation 2001.

2. Amendment of Public Health Regulation 1991

   The Public Health Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in
   Schedule 1.

3. Amendment of Public Health (Microbial Control) Regulation 2000

   The Public Health (Microbial Control) Regulation 2000 is amended as set out in Schedule 2.

   Omit “$240” from clause 37 (2) (c). Insert instead “$245”.
