AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Public Health Ordinance 1928-1930.

Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909-1938 and the Scut of BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal
.Government (Administration) Act 1910-1947, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance mav be cited as the Public Health short title

Ordinance 1951 .* a„d citation.

(2.) The Public Health Ordinance 1928-1930 is in this

Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,

may be cited as the Public Health Ordinance 1928-1951.

2. After section seven of the Principal Ordinance the following'

section is inserted :—

" 7 A . — (1.) The Director-General may delegate any of his Delegation by

powers and functions under this Ordinance (except this power of General,
delegation) in relation to any matters or class of matters, so that the
delegated powers and functions may be exercised by the delegate
with respect to the matters or class of matters specified in the
instrument of delegation.

" (2.) Every delegation under this section shall be revocable at will and no delegation shall prevent the exercise of any power or function by the Director-General.".
