This instrument is the
Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Legislation Amendment (Australian Building and Construction Commission) Rules 2017 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

(2) Any information in column 3 of the table is not part of this instrument. Information may be inserted in this column, or information in it may be edited, in any published version of this instrument.
This instrument is made under the following:
(a) the
Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 ;(b) the
Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2014 .
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Repeal the section.
Repeal the Schedule.
Insert:
For the purposes of the finance law:
(a) the Australian Building and Construction Commission (the
Commission ) is a listed entity; and(b) the Australian Building and Construction Commissioner (the
ABC Commissioner ) is the accountable authority of the listed entity; and(c) the following persons are officials of the listed entity:
(i) the ABC Commissioner;
(ii) the staff of the Commission referred to in subsection 30(1) of the
Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 ;(iii) persons whose services are made available to the ABC Commissioner under section 31 of that Act;
(iv) consultants engaged under section 32 of that Act; and
(d) the purposes of the listed entity include the functions of the ABC Commissioner referred to in section 16 of that Act.
Repeal the clause.
