Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Commencement Proclamation 2014

I, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under item 2 of the table in subsection 2(1) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, fix as the day on which sections 6 to 112 of that Act commence:

(a)        if the Acts mentioned in Schedule 1 all receive the Royal Assent before 1 July 2014—1 July 2014; or

(b)        otherwise—1 January 2015.

Schedule 1—Acts

1  Acts

The Acts are:

(a)  the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Amendment Act 2014; and

(b)  the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2014; and

(c)  the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Consequential Modifications of Appropriation Acts (No. 1), (No. 3) and (No. 5)) Act 2014; and

(d)  the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Consequential Modifications of Appropriation Acts (No. 2), (No. 4) and (No. 6)) Act 2014; and

(e)  the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Consequential Modifications of Appropriation Acts (Parliamentary Departments)) Act 2014.
