I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New

South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Public Finance and Audit (Auditor-General) Amendment Act 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 1992 as. the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act (except Schedule 3, and section 3 in its application to that Schedule) commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the main part of the Act on 1 March 1992. Minor amendments consequent on a proclamation under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 specifying the Auditor-General’s Office as a statutory body are taken to have commenced on 3 February 1989 (the date of publication of that proclamation). Amendments relating to the constitution of the Auditor-General’s Office as a body corporate for the purposes of employing staff will remain uncommenced for the time being.
