Public Finance and Audit Amendment (United States Studies Centre Limited) Regulation 2007

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

Explanatory note
Section 45 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 (the Act) enables the Auditor-General, if requested to do so, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of financial transactions relating to statutory bodies to which section 44 of the Act applies.
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2005 to add the United States Studies Centre Limited to the list of bodies prescribed as statutory bodies under section 44 (1) of the Act.
This Regulation is made under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, including sections

44 (1) and 64 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Public Finance and Audit Amendment (United
States Studies Centre Limited) Regulation 2007.

2 Amendment of Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2005

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2005 is amended by inserting in appropriate order in clause 17 (1) the following paragraph:

(aw) United States Studies Centre Limited.
