His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2015 to remove the Dumaresq-Barwon Border Rivers Commission and the Marine Estate Management Authority from the list of bodies that may be audited by the Auditor-General at the request of the Treasurer (or another Minister) under section 45 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

This Regulation is made under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, including sections 44 (1) (a) and 64 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Public Finance and Audit Amendment (Prescribed Audits)
Regulation 2016.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

Schedule 1 Prescribed audits

Omit “Dumaresq-Barwon Border Rivers Commission” and “Marine Estate
Management Authority” from Part 1.
