I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, make the following proclamation.

1      Name of Order

This Proclamation is the Public Finance and Audit Amendment (Departments)
Proclamation 2015.

2      Commencement

This Proclamation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 No 152

(1) Schedule 3 Departments

Omit from Columns 1 and 2 the following matter:

Department of Education and Communities Secretary of the Department
Office of Finance and Services Chief Executive of the Office
Ministry for Police and Emergency Services Chief Executive of the Ministry
Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Secretary of the Department
Infrastructure and Services
(2) Schedule 3
Insert in Columns 1 and 2 in appropriate order:
Department of Education Secretary of the Department
Department of Finance, Services and Innovation Secretary of the Department
Department of Industry, Skills and Regional Development Secretary of the Department
Explanatory note
The object of this Proclamation is to amend Schedule 3 (Departments) to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 as a consequence of a recent administrative arrangements order made under the Constitution Act 1902.
