HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 1984 is amended by omitting from clause 3 the words “Sydney Conservatorium of Music Foundation and S.C.M.F. Pty. Limited.”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this Regulation is to amend the Public Finance and Audit Regulation 1984 to omit the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Foundation and S.C.M.F. Pty Limited from the list of prescribed statutory bodies whose accounts the Auditor-General may be requested to audit pursuant to section 45 (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

The Foundation is now under the control of the University of Sydney and subject to the University’s audit arrangements. The company, which managed the affairs of the Foundation, has been wound up.
