PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983 - REGULATION

(Relating to the New South Wales Egg Corporation

and the Railway Service Superannuation Board)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 is amended by omitting from

Schedule 2 the following words:

New South Wales Egg Corporation.

Railway Service Superannuation Board, being the Board

constituted under Part 9 of the Government Railways Act 1912.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to remove the New South Wales Egg Corporation and the Railway Service Superannuation Board from the list of statutory bodies subject to certain accounting and auditing requirements of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

The New South Wales Egg Corporation’s business undertaking has been sold and the functions of the Railway Service Superannuation Board have been taken over by the State Authorities Superannuation Board.
