HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 1984 is amended by inserting

at the end of clause 3 the following:

University Partnerships Pty. Ltd.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to enable the Auditor-General, if requested to do so by the Treasurer or the Minister for Business and Consumer affairs, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of financial transactions of or relating to University Partnerships Pty. Ltd. and the records of or relating to assets of or in the custody of that body. That company is owned jointly by the New South Wales Government (through the Minister for Business and Consumer Affairs) and the University of New England.
