PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983—REGULATION

(Relating to the audit of the Ambulance Service of New South Wales)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 1984 is amended by inserting at the end of clause 3 (1) the following:

Ambulance Service of New South Wales.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to enable the Auditor-General, if requested to do so by the Treasurer or the Minister administering the Ambulance Services Act 1990, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of fiancial transactions of or relating to the Ambulance Service of New South Wales and the records of or relating to assets of or in custody of that body.

This Regulation is made under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, including section 64 (the general regulation-making power) and Division 4 of Part 3 of that Act.
