PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT 1983 - REGULATION

(Relating to the audit of certain county councils)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive

Council, and in pursuance of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 1984 is amended by

inserting at the end of clause 3 the following:

Northern Riverina County Council.
Oxley County Council.

Southern Riverina County Council.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to enable the Auditor-General, on request, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of financial transactions of or relating to the Northern Riverina, Oxley and Southern Riverina County Councils and the records of or relating to assets of or in the custody of those county councils.
