His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

Explanatory note

The Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 provides in Division 4 of Part 3 that certain statutory bodies are to be audited by the Auditor-General at the request of the Treasurer, a Minister or certain other persons.

The object of this Regulation is to add the following statutory bodies to the list of statutory bodies that are subject to such particular audits:

(a) the persons or body having control of the Waste Planning and Management Fund,

(b) the Stormwater Trust. section 44 and section 64 (the general regulation-making power).

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2000 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

[1]     Clause 20 Prescribed statutory bodies under Division 4 of Part 3 of the Act

Insert at the end of clause 20 (1):

(ag) Stormwater Trust.

Insert at the end of the subclause:

(g) Waste Planning and Management Fund.
