Amendment (Land and Water

Conservation) Regulation 1998

Public Finance and Audit Act 1983

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Finance and

Audit Act 1983.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to remove the reference to the Department of Land and Water Conservation from the list of Departments to which Division 4A of Part 3 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 applies. That Division relates to the keeping of accounts by Departments and the inspection and audit of those accounts.

A reference to the Department (not including the State Valuation Office) is to be added to the list by proclamation under section 45B ( 1 ) of the Public

Finance and Audit Act 1983.

This Regulation is made under section 45B (3) of the Public Finance and

Audit Act 1983.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Public Finance and Audit Amendment

(Land and Water Conservation) Regulation 1998.

2 Amendment of Public Finance and Audit Act 1983

The Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.
