His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983.

Explanatory note

Section 45 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 enables the Auditor-General, if requested to do so, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of financial transactions of or relating to statutory bodies prescribed under section 44 of that Act.

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the Jannali Project Joint Venture and the Zetland Project Joint Venture as statutory bodies under section 44 of the Act. This Regulation is made under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983, including sections 64 (the general power to make regulations) and 44 (1).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Public Finance and Audit Amendment (Joint
Ventures) Regulation 2000.

2 Amendment of Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2000

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2000 is amended by inserting in appropriate order in clause 20 (1):

(ah)	Jannali Project Joint Venture,
(ai)	Zetland Project Joint Venture.
