Explanatory note

Section 45 of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 enables the Auditor-General, if requested to do so, to inspect and audit the accounts and records of financial transactions of or relating to statutory bodies prescribed under section 44 of that Act.

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe Games Information Services Pty Ltd sections 64 (the general power to make regulations) and 44 (1).

The Public Finance and Audit Regulation 2000 is amended by inserting in appropriate order in clause 20 (1):

(aj) Games Information Services Pty Ltd.
