1983—Proclamation

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 45B (1) of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 Act, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 3 to that Act (Departments):

(a)

by inserting in alphabetical order of Departments the following matter:

Ministry of Energy and Utilities	Director of the Ministry
Department of Information	Director-General of the Department

Technology and Management

(b)

by omitting the following matter:

Department of Energy	Director-General of the Department
Ministry for Forests and Marine	Secretary of the Ministry

Administration

Surveyor-General's Department	Surveyor-General
Ministry of Urban Infrastructure	Director of the Ministry

Management

Valuer-General's Department Valuer-General

Explanatory note

The object of this Proclamation is to update Schedule 3 to the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 as a consequence of recent administrative changes under the Public Sector Management Act 1988 involving the creation and abolition of a number of Public Service Departments.
